Syed Moazzem Ali, High Commissioner of Bangladesh in India introduced the guests with  Sheikh Hasina, Honorable Prime Minister of the Peoples Republic of Bangladesh and apprised her probable areas of cooperation between Bangladesh and India in health sector during her visit to India.

Brigadier General Md Abdul Hamid, ndc, psc signed an MOU with TMC on collaboration for capacity building of Bangladesh Armed Forces in healthcare sector during the visit of Sheikh Hasina, Honorable Prime Minister of Bangladesh to India in 2017. Prof. Abu Yousuf Md. Abdullah PhD, Chairman, NUB TRUST and The Governing Body of Northern University Bangladesh was also a member of the delegation and signed MOU on Education.

Collaboration with Dr Devi Shetty, Narayana Health, Bangalore, India.

There were number of meeting with Dr Devi Shetty, founder of Narayna Health  and an  icon of Cardiac surgery to explore areas of cooperation. Finally both Narayna Health and DGMS could sign an MOU for collaboration on capacity building and other areas of health care. The signing ceremony was conducted through video conferencing.

Maj General SM Motahar Hussain, DG, DGMS along with his team visited NH, Bangalore and discussed possible areas of cooperation between BD Armed Forces Medical Service and Narayna Health.

During the video conference,  Dr Devi Shetty commits all possible support of Narayna Health in capacity building of BD Armed Forces Medical Service.

Visit to Seven Hill Hospital, Mumbai, India for collaboration and cooperation with Bangladesh Armed Forces Medical Service. CEO, Seven Hill Hospital, Mumbai warmly receives the guest.

AIMS is a reputed and State of the Art institution. It provides charity healthcare and very good training on all discipline. Maj General S M Motahar Hossain, DG, DGMS with his team visited the institution and later signed MOU for cooperation on capacity building. He took keen interest in capacity building and extended all possible support to have active collaboration with Indian Health facilities. Beside AIMS , cooperation agreements were also signed with R&R Hospital, Delhi, All India Institution of Medical Science (AIIMS), Tata Mumbai Cancer Hospital, Escort Hospital, Delhi and other reputed Institutions.

It was a unique opportunity to interact with Sri Narendra Modi, Honourable PM of India. He wished the best for Bangladesh.

 

Brigadier GeneralMd Abdul Hamid, ndc, psc receives doctoral fellowship as  Doctor of Human Letter from the chancellor SRIISIM Dr Swami Partha Sarothi for outstanding contribution to diplomacy through innovative practice and unprecedented inspirational leadership of building Indo Bangla bilateral relationship on 30  November 2018. he graduation ceremony was conducted on 30th November, a momentous day for the students as they were rewarded for their hard work and dedication. Amongst the dignitaries  Prof. Rui Alexander Verde( Director, Executive Programme & Research Oxford Academic Union), Prof. Gajendra Verma, Dr.BR Shetty, Sh. Pavan Sharma, Sh. Amar Singh, Sh. Adhiranjan Chowdhry, Sh. Subhash Chandra (Chairman, Zee& Essel group), Sh. Naresh Goyal (Chairman, Jet Airways), Mr. Peter Samuel, Mr. Peter Church, and  Prof. AM Felix,  were also conferred upon Hony Doctoral Fellowships. DOCTORATE OF HUMANE LETTERS.

 

Mr Shekhar Dutt, former Governor of Chattishgarh, former Defense and Health Secretary of India meets Honorable PM. He played a key role in making a filed of collaboration with reputed healthcare Institution of India namely AIIMS, Delhi, Narayna Health (NH) Bangalore, AIMS Kerala and many more.
